Our Team

Mr. Emmanuel Banda is the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Blantyre Baptist Holdings Limited. He currently works for Alliance One Capital (Malawi) Limited as HR Director and previously worked for Illovo Sugar (Malawi) PLC as HR Country Leader.

He serves on several boards, including NBS Bank, MBCHealth and Habitat for Humanity Malawi, and has served in a range of employer and labour advisory roles. He is a past president of the Employer Consultative Association of Malawi (ECAM).

He brings extensive corporate and non-corporate leadership experience to the BBA governance community.

Rev Dr Vincent Chirwa is the Lead Pastor of Blantyre Baptist Church and the visionary behind the founding of Blantyre Baptist Academy. He is Chairman of the Advisory Board Trustees of the Baptist Convention of Malawi and serves on the council of Daeyang University and Baptist College.

He holds qualifications in travel, theology and practical theology, including a Ph.D. in Practical Theology from Mzuzu University. He has also served in corporate roles and held leadership positions within the Baptist Convention of Malawi.
